We had a great day at Liscard Primary School this week, teaching 89 year 3 pupils the basics of circuits by making light up Christmas cards.

The sessions were a lot of fun. As well as creating a circuit with copper tape to light up an LED, the kids decorated their Christmas cards with a variety of craft materials.

We spent the whole day at the school running 4 workshops throughout the day. We were impressed by how much the pupils already knew about electricity. And it was pleasure to see the look of joy and wonder on their faces when they first saw the glowing LEDs.

It was a really fun day and we can’t wait to go back again.
