We have been commissioned by Toxteth based Social Enterprise, Back on Track to deliver a 6 week programme of digital learning to young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

The programme has been funded through the Eleanor Rathbone Charitable Trust and will be delivered from our makerspace at Norris Green Library.

The programme will start with a taster day on 26th February, with 5 short taster activities to introduce the various subject areas we can work in: Film making, Animation, Graphic Design, Robotics and Coding. We’ll then get a consensus form the group as to which areas they’re most interested in and develop a learning programme around that for the remaining weeks – this may be 1 session dedicated to each area or 5 days dedicated to one area.

With digital becoming a required employability skill, this programme will give young people a chance to explore the range of skills and activties that fall under digital and give them a springboard to further learning and development.

If you are aged between 16 – 29 and you’re currently not in education, employment or training, sign up now.
