Workshops & Events
There’s never been a better time to introduce computer science and digital skills into your activities. And with our years of expertise bringing tech to kids, we can help make the subject fun and exciting.
There are lots of ways we can work together:
Would you like us to take over your classes for the day. We can run a special Tech day at your school and teach a variety of activities to meet the requirements of the national curriculum for KS1 & KS2. We have activities to suit all ages.
Want something more structured? We can run a 12 week programme, during lesson time or as a lunch or after school club.
Want something engaging and fun for your event? Regardless of age we can provide activities suited to most occasions, from stall based activity to full workshops and classes.
It’s not just kids that need to learn digital skills, as more and more jobs become automated, there’s never been a better time for adults to get into tech. Let us show you how much fun that can be!
Whether you are a teacher, playworker or just looking to diversify your tech sills, we can work with you to show you the basics of computing, electronics and digital media.
As tech becomes more embedded in the curriculum, teachers and child care professionals with a knowledge of the available resources for teaching computing will be way ahead of the competition.
There are lots of ways to improve your tech teaching skills:
- Book us to run CPD training with your staff
- Volunteer at a Little Sandbox Club
- Join our maker space and learn from other members about a variety of software and hardware
We run sessions in:
- Video games in Scratch
- Circuits and electronics
- 3D design for printing
- Stop motion animation
We can also host small classes at our venue and include workshops on laser cutting, decorative printing and 3D printing
